HIFF 2010 is set to launch on Thursday October 14. Multimedia, Journalism and Stratcom students are sharpening their pencils and popping new batteries into their cameras in anticipation. The HPU Media and Cinematic Arts program revealed its 2010 HIFF Theatrical Card. The image was shot in two locations, downtown Chinatown by the historic Hawaii Theater, and at world-famous Sandy Beach. HPU students shot a theatrical card in Chinatown this past week and at Sandy Beach for the Hawaii International Film Festival. Students from Cinematic and Media Arts, Communication and Journalism shot on HD video, and with HDSLR cameras. The photo shoot project will be seen on theater screens before all 2010 HIFF screenings.
