Thor: Ragnarok Review

Thor: Ragnarok was one of the best movies I have seen all year. The storyline is engaging and the visual effects leave a lasting impression. But even if you aren’t a huge fan of Marvel or you haven’t seen the past movies in the series, you can still enjoy this film with out the feeling of “missing something” or “being left out.”

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok–the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization–at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger–the Incredible Hulk! – Rotten Tomatoes

Thor: Ragnarok is a funny, over-the-top, light hearted movie. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy. I took my 3 year old daughter to see it and she absolutely loved it. She always asks me “Daddy, can we see the hammer man movie?”

The visual effects are second to none. The worlds created by Marvel are the most aesthetically pleasing that I have seen in a very long time.

I also loved the fact that it is kid friendly. I was able to take my 3 year old daughter and not feel like I was exposing her to something she did not need to be watching.

I highly recommend anybody to go see this film. And if you love it, you can go back and watch other Marvel movies to get you ready for the ‘Infinity War’ movie next summer.
