Disney yet again created a work of art. Big Hero 6 took its well-deserved place next to Frozen. I wont give any spoilers out, but I would highly recommend Big Hero 6 to anyone from young to old. It kept you intrigued and pulled you in. It had everything that makes a good movie, the drama, the heart warmth of family and friends, and the comedy. The comedy was beyond anything I felt Disney has done before and teaming up with Marvel Comics made it just that much better.
The movie takes place in a mythical place called San Fransokyo. It is a mix of San Francisco and Tokyo. I thought it was very creative to take two different countries and unite them as one. Hiro Hermada is a boy genius that gets a push from his older brother Tadashi to go to this robotics school and express to the world his full potential. Tadashi builds this robot, Baymax to help do good in the world of medical. When a tragic event happens to Tadashi, Hiro and Baymax form a bond and a whole different sequence of events happen.
It is very interesting how the movie played out and the end result of it. It was truly about friends and family and how life events change us. Overall fantastic movie and it receives 5 stars from me. Don’t forget to stay after the credits! You know Marvel likes to add something extra 🙂
