Ivan Locke is a man, a husband, a father and a concrete contractor. The movie is a journey of the main character Locke portrayed by (Tom Hardy) and the journey takes place on the open road of the highway after an important job he decides to miss for a more pressing matter. The film has a different way to tell a story by having Locke speak to people while on there road threw hands free calling. This trip is one Locke is not looking forward to, but knows he must complete it.
Where Locke excels at, he also misses the mark entirely. The film is a long car ride that seems to make the audience lose interest by only showing Locke for an hour-long car ride. I found the film to be very dry and boring. The film had good acting, but overall left something to be desired. If you enjoy a different way to view stories, this is the film for you. If not, go see a film that is more exciting and includes more than someone talking on a hands-free device.
