Set in a room overlooking their grand entrances, the afternoon kicked off with the press and the public. Four directors eagerly answered questions and gave audiences an in-depth look into their personal journeys and their passion for film. Most film we’re familiar with are there to entertain. What sets HIFF apart from mainstream Cinema is that HIFF films not only entertain, but they educate; one can also feel the dedication it to produce such masterpiece.
HIFF has really set the bars high this year’s event. It will be exciting to see what they will bring to the plate the next time around. One thing is for sure: HPU will certainly have a place in it.
