For the HIFF print deliverable I attached a sample of a business card I thought would be cool. On the front are pictures from three of the movies I’d like to see at the festival. “Bob Marley: Making of a Legend,” “My wedding and Other Secrets,” and “Minds in the Water.” On the back of the business card (directly behind the picture of the corresponding film) are the movie’s title, place it was filmed, director along with time and place they’ll be showing. This card will be to generate interest and buzz for the festival.
On the back is a map (like a Google earth snap shot) of how to get from HPU to Dole Theater, as well as a suggested bus route. On the back it will have a brief background on HIFF and CTA ending with their website HIFF.org. By the time the audience receives this ad they may have made the decision to attend the festival, but aren’t sure how. This will be a simple and informative piece that will drive student customers to the HIFF Website, and into empty theater seats.
